It can be hard to stay on top of all your important tasks and events, manage an ever increasing list of contacts, remember all the appointments and all the calls you have to make, and generally stay organized and get things done efficiently. The iChronos application, with its visual approach to personal organization, is here to do away with such difficulties. This application will make it quite easy to manage all your tasks, events, contacts, free time, and more.

iChronos can be installed on just about any edition of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. The setup wizard that helps you install iChronos asks you to pick between a default and a portable installation. Choose the default option if you want to install iChronos on your desktop PC, pick the portable installation option if you want to install the application on a USB stick or another portable storage device.

The brownish iChronos interface is divided into 4 panes. The pane to the left displays the Item List – this is a list of all your contacts, tasks, notes, and so on. The pane directly underneath displays today’s events and the pane next to it is the Timeline (from the View menu you can change the Timeline’s location). The main and most important pane is the one in the upper right. Here is where you can get a visual representation of all your contacts, notes, reminders, and so on. You can zoom in and out, add new contacts, view existing notes, and more.

While iChronos is running, you will see an icon in the system tray, icon that displays the date. Hover the mouse over it and a calendar will show up. Left click it to bring up the main interface, right click it to access a handy “Create Item” menu.

All the tools needed to stay organized are provided by the iChronos application. To help you better understand how that can be, the application comes loaded with a sample project. Said project comes with a list of contacts, several tasks (grouped into reminders, events, holidays), some notes, info on some historical characters, and a Free Time entry with a list of movies that are worth watching.

With iChronos you can manage a list of contacts, write down notes, keep track of all your tasks, set up reminders, and more – and you can manage all this data in a very good looking interface.

Pros

Choose between a default and portable iChronos installation. The application comes with a sample project. The brownish interface is quite easy to use. iChronos takes a visual approach to personal organization. The application provides all the tools you need to stay organized. You can password protect access to the application. Contacts can be imported from Outlook. Support for English and Russian is provided.

Cons

Free to use for a 30-day evaluation period.
